The Revenue Accounting Manager will partner cross-functionally across various teams, lead a team of Sr. Revenue Accountants, and own the revenue month-end close process. This role will involve being the go-to person for technical revenue accounting matters, ensuring revenue recognition, advising business partners, and helping to grow the revenue accounting function at Fetch.
This hands-on role is responsible for implementing processes and systems for clients, including mapping out needs, choosing a system, and setting up and implementing the system. Supporting startup clients, the ability to context shift, communicate, prioritize, and evaluate needs is crucial. Managing accountants and processes for clients while embracing the agile nature of startups is essential.
The Revenue Accounting Manager will oversee the daily operations of the revenue accounting function, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting in addition to creating and maintaining robust processes. This role is integral to driving and ensuring accuracy and completeness of our financial records and will work closely with the Director of Accounting.
Lead the accounting design and implementation of GoFundMe’s internal ledger system for global revenue and fund flows. Translate accounting policy (ASC 606) into system-integrated logic in partnership with Product, Engineering, and Data teams. Provide technical accounting guidance for new product launches and monetization models, assessing revenue impacts and ensuring GAAP compliance.
